Habib Shamskhou is the President and CEO of Advanced Mobility Group and co-founder of GoMentum Station, one of the nation’s premier Connected and Autonomous Vehicle (CAV) test facilities. With more than three decades of leadership in transportation innovation, he is widely recognized for advancing next-generation mobility, digital infrastructure, and intelligent systems across the U.S. and internationally.
A transportation systems engineer by training, Habib specializes in technology facilitation, public-private partnerships, and program management of large-scale, technology-based infrastructure projects. His expertise spans intelligent transportation systems (ITS), integrated corridor management, system engineering, congestion management, and the deployment of emerging mobility technologies.
Habib currently leads key collaborations with the Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) through its Advanced Driving Systems (ADS) and Advanced Transportation and Congestion Management Technologies Deployment (ATCMTD) programs—efforts that support federal ADS safety research and the development of a multimodal Mobility-as-a-Service platform. Under his guidance, GoMentum Station continues to expand its capabilities through initiatives such as the Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Signal Lab and dynamic personal microtransit demonstrations.
Throughout his career, Habib has managed major, multi-jurisdictional programs including Active Traffic Management System (ATMS) and Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) projects in California and Washington; complex ITS deployments nationwide; and strategic planning efforts for agencies across the country. He is also a sought-after international speaker on the future of mobility, including the role of quantum computing and digital infrastructure in shaping the next era of intelligent transportation.
